Interesting Cricket Match (Essay)
Cricket is a very popular sport in our country. People take great interest in one day cricket matches these days. We played a limited overs match in the Interschool Championship last month. In the final, our team won the toss. We decided to play first. The first ball of the first over shocked us. Our finest opener was out for a duck. We did not lose heart. Our players then played with great care and made 160 runs in their innings. The other team played very well and made 80 runs without loss. We decided to work very hard. All our players put their heart and squl in the game. They bowled extremely well and fielded brilliantly. They took wonderful catches. The team with which we were playing the cricket match was last year's champion. Our team was under psychological pressure.
We thought that we could not beat that team. However, our captain was a very brave and cool person. He encouraged us so much that we became very confident again. Our team got the spirit of a winning team All the players of our team got determined to win the match. Our rival team made 140 runs for all out. We won the match by 20 runs. Match is very interesting for us. We won the trophy for the championship.
